Appearance: Whiteflies look like tiny white moths

Size: Whitefly average 1-2 mm in length.

Diet: Whiteflies feed by inserting their stylet into the veins of leaves and sucking out the phloem sap.

Reproduction: Females are able to mate less than 24 hours after emerging. Females frequently lay their eggs on the undersides of leaves.

Damage: Whiteflies damage shrubs when they suck out the shrubs sap and can also transmit several plant viruses while they feed.
